Pre-Primary Activities
Throughout the year, we arrange various events, which help the little ones of Pre-primary section to gain valuable real life experiences. They enjoy learning by doing many activities in practical life. Students are introduced to various projects every month; this includes practical, field trip, hands-on experience and various other activities. These activities provide the foundation of all future learning. The children develop their fine motor skills, sensory skills, communication skills, phonetics, numerical skills, thinking & analytical skills, observation skills, physical skills, creative skills, etc. while doing a variety of practical oriented & well designed activities. The teachers & children use different types of teaching aids, specially made for this purpose.
Water Project
Salad Day
Vegetable Salad and Fruit Salad days are organized. On these days the students are asked to sort the vegetables, wash them and cut them in required form, peel the fruits, grate the vegetables, etc. Different methods of peeling, cutting, and grating are introduced to them. Students learn the importance of the fruits and vegetables, their tastes, colours, etc. Also they enjoy the arrangement of the salad in a decorative way.
Yellow, Red, Green, Blue Days
are celebrated in our Pre-primary School, on which all the students, teachers and staff comes dressed in the particular colour, all the things of that colour are displayed and activities related to that colour are conducted.
Fancy Dress Competition
The little stars of class I to IV participated in Fancy Dress Competition on 15th September 2012. The students were dressed up in different characters and spoke their dialogues very confidently. This activity provided a platform to hone the students’ skills, tap their innate potentials and groom their all round personality. The competition was rounded off by the encouraging words of the Head Mistress.
Festivals and National Days
The celebration of festivals and national days such as Ganeshotsav, Naag Panchami, Raksha Bandhan, Dahi Handi, Diwali, Independence Day, Republic Day, etc. help the students to learn about the culture of our country. A variety of activities related to the topic are included in the classroom learning, scientific experiments & many other real life activities are conducted to make their learning enjoyable. These are necessary to make their concepts clear & give them a strong foundation.
Nagpanchami
the festival of worshiping the snake, ‘Nag’ was celebrated on 23rd July 2012. Students made models of the snake Nag using dough.
