Atal Tinkering Laboratory
Shri Vithalrao Joshi Charities Trust’s English Medium School and Junior College of Science, Dervan, is one of the 2441 schools selected across India by the Govt. of India for setting up Atal Tinkering Lab in the school where young children get a chance to work with tools and equipments to understand the concepts of (STEM) i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. This selection is made after scrutinizing the school’s performance in academic activities for the past three years. Atal Tinkering Lab is inaugurated by the propitious hands of our Chief Guest Dr. Nitin Karmalkar, Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University.
The lab has been prepared to provide opportunities for various levels of tinkering, creating, innovating based on student’s inclinations. It has multiple tools including series of sensors, micro controller boards, relays, motors, wires, USBs, Arduinos, Robot kits, Do-It-Yourself kits, telescope, 3D Printer, laptops, IPads, Projector and the two Play Stations too.
With our ATL in place, we have set to give platform to all the young minds to tinker around and tap on their unnoticed potential. These labs are initiated towards building our next generations of innovators and leaders by equipping them with modern multiple technologies.
