AFS visit
A thrilling experience at Air Force Station, Lohegaon, Pune
The youth of today are the responsible citizens tomorrow. Shri Vithalrao Joshi Charities Trust endeavours to groom the youth by providing all-round education. To instil patriotic spirit in young boys and girls at SVJCT and motivate them to fight for the country, Air Chief Marshal ( Retd.) Pradeep V. Naik Sir organised visit of our students and teachers to Air Force Station, Lohegaon, Pune.
The students of classes 9 and 10 with teachers were taken on a tour of airborne war machines ranging from variety of Guns and war equipment, MANPADS, Radar, Aakash Missile to Sukhoi-30 fighter jet explained by the valiant fighter pilot, which was an unforgettable and enthusing experience for all.
Aerobatic Display of the world’s most agile fighter aircraft the Sukhoi-30 doing the extremely complex manoeuvres such as loop, spin, tumble, stall, roll, touch the sky, stand still, revealed the sheer skill of the highly experienced pilots and left the students totally enthralled.
Su-30 flight-simulation taking all of them on a virtual flight and demonstration of Special Force Garud Flt made exhilarating imprint on the minds of students. Students interacted with the fighter pilots and Officers and asked questions related to war machines and their training.
This visit inculcated a deep sense of patriotism, discipline, punctuality, dedication and much more learnt from the brave warriors willing to take risks for the sake of our nation. It inspired the students to shape their career in Armed Forces.
